One bowl chocolate and biscoff brownies

Jumping on the biscoff trend mixed with my favourite treat, brownies! This is a great recipe for low calorie brownies, with the taste of high calorie brownies. Yields 12 slices from this recipe and 170 calories per brownie.

INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 eggs
150g melted dark chocolate
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 tbsp biscoff spread

METHOD

1) Preheat the oven to 180•c and line your selected square tin. I used a 8” tin.

2) Whisk together the sugar and butter until combined. Add the eggs slowly to the mix and further whisk until combined.

3) Shift the flour into the mix and combine with a spoon. Add the vanilla extract and the melted chocolate and fold in.

4) Place mixture into the lined tin. Melt the biscoff spread and then place on top of the mixture. Swirl it around with the knife.

5) Place into the oven for around 15-20 minutes until the knife comes out clean in the centre of the brownie.

6) Let it cool and turn out to cut into piece.
